Information connected to your account
Creating an account requires an email address, password and username. The account service manages sign-in credentials, and your profile stores your username.
We use account information to provide access to your account, identify your profile and help with account enquiries. Do not use your password as your username or include sensitive details in it.
Messages you send us
The contact form opens a prepared message in your email app; it reaches us only when you send it. If you email hello@100mph-merch.com, your message includes your email address and any information you choose to provide. That information is used to respond to your enquiry and deal with the issue you raise.
Please do not send passwords, card numbers or other unnecessary sensitive information. Where applicable, handling an enquiry is based on taking steps at your request or our legitimate interest in providing support; account information is used to provide the service you request.
Information on your device
The website stores sign-in session information in your browser to keep you signed in. Music-section comments, including the name you enter, are saved in that browser and are not sent to a shared comments service.
Your shopping bag identifier and selections are saved in this browser so the bag can be restored between visits. Shopify holds the associated basket; an expired basket or clearing browser data may remove your selections. Do not include payment-card details in comments or support messages.
Service providers and external platforms
Our hosting and account service providers support the website’s account and profile services. They may process information needed to host, secure and operate those services.
Shopify provides product information, baskets and checkout. When you use checkout, Shopify and the payment and delivery services involved process information needed for your order, such as contact and delivery details and payment information, under their own policies. The YouTube video and links to social or music platforms involve separate services. They may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details or information about your interaction. Their own privacy policies apply to their processing; opening an external link takes you outside this website.
Keeping information and security
Account details are retained while your account remains in the service. Support correspondence may be kept as needed to deal with enquiries and any applicable legal obligations. Browser-stored comments remain until the browser’s site data is cleared.
No online service can guarantee complete security. Keep your account credentials private, sign out on shared devices and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to certain uses, or request a portable copy. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email hello@100mph-merch.com to make a privacy or account-deletion request. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity. Deletion may be subject to information we are legally required to keep. You can also raise a concern with the data-protection authority where you live; in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the website or its data handling changes. Contact hello@100mph-merch.com if you need more information about how your details are used.
